Vishwamanava Vidyaniketana has played a pivotal role in whatever little I have  achieved in life today. I’m honoured and ever grateful to my teachers and school for making me a good citizen.

          I am a first batch ( SSLC ) student of Vishwamanava Vidyanikethana. Our school is very beautiful and spacious – it has a large well-maintained playground full of trees, a skating ground, a library, a computer lab section. All the teachers were very kind and affectionate.  They were teaching in a creative manner with attractive ways. Repeated tests, mock tests, and examinations helped to boost our confidence in the public or board examinations and scored very good marks.  Apart from studies, we celebrated national festivals like Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, and Republic Day. We also had dance, music, yoga, Karate class and so on. I would like to mention our Founder Prof. B.K Chandrashekhare Gowda sir who always treated us like his own children. Thank you so much everyone for making my school journey memorable.

          I feel very proud to say that our school taught us not just ‘How to write’ but also ‘What is right’. What I liked the most was that our school gave equal importance to extracurricular activities as much as to the curriculum. Based on the teachings of ‘ Mahatma Gandhiji’, our school was divided into 4 groups, namely, SOWJANYA, SOUHARDHA, SAMANVAYA and SARVODAYA. Our teachers gave equal importance to every single child present in the class, and they encouraged us to participate in every event even when we were hesitant about it. Like this, the amount of effort our teachers put into our overall development is unmatchable. Our school management is a perfect example of the saying ‘Practice what you Preach’. As our school’s title card says ‘MANUSHYA JAATI TAANONDE VALAM’ meaning ‘ENTIRE HUMANITY IS ONE’, our teachers always taught to keep Humanity above all. Though many of us belong to the economically weaker sections of society, our school gave quality education. Lastly, I take this opportunity to thank wholeheartedly each and every one in our school, it is because of them, I am here at this stage.
