Our founder, Prof. Chandrashekhare Gowda was very much inspired by his father, Shri B K Kempaiah. The father and son were influenced by the ideas of the Mahatma Gandhiji and Acharya Vinobha Bhave to start a model school. To realize this goal, Shri B K Kempaiah distributed his own wetlands to poor farmers for a small amount, so that his son could fulfill his dream project of constructing a school in the heart of Mysore city for the downtrodden children of the society. 

We are generously providing the entire building on our school premises free of cost, for needy cultural and social organizations conducting events for social causes, health camps and general awareness.

Vishwamanava Vidyanikethana has introduced Samskrutha, Veda, and Yoga along with general education, since the last two decades. Daily yoga practices are conducted during class hours. Samskrutha and Veda classes are taught under a traditional system. This value-based education is imparted without any monetary benefits.
